References to "LoopLift", "we", "us" or "our" in this Privacy Policy refer to Robyn Whitehead as the operator of the LoopLift mobile application and website.
Robyn Whitehead is the data controller responsible for deciding how your personal data is collected, used and protected.

2. About LoopLift
LoopLift is a fitness and wellness application that combines cycle information, workouts, energy levels, symptoms and other information entered by users to provide personalised tracking and insights.
LoopLift supports different user experiences, including regular cycles, irregular cycles, PCOS, hormonal contraception and users who experience predictable withdrawal bleeds.
LoopLift is intended for general fitness, wellness and educational purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
You should speak to a qualified healthcare professional if you have questions or concerns about your health.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of LoopLift, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
Account information
This may include:
- Your email address
- Authentication identifiers
- Account creation and login information
- Account status
Authentication is provided through Supabase Auth. We do not have access to your password in readable form.
Profile information
This may include:
- Your preferred name
- Your age range
- Your selected cycle mode
- Your selected fitness or wellbeing preferences
- Your custom cycle length
- App settings and preferences
- Subscription or account role status
Cycle, health and wellbeing information
This may include information that you voluntarily enter into LoopLift, such as:
- Period dates
- Withdrawal bleed dates
- Cycle length and cycle history
- Energy levels
- Symptoms and symptom severity
- Body-weight entries
- Wellbeing check-ins
- Information about how you feel or perform over time
Some of this information may be considered health-related or special category personal data under applicable data protection laws.
You are not required to enter optional cycle, symptom, body-weight or wellbeing information, although some LoopLift features may not work without the information needed to provide them.
Workout and fitness information
This may include:
- Exercises
- Workout routines
- Sets, repetitions and weights
- Muscle groups
- Workout dates and history
- Fitness progress
- Achievements and personal records
- Personalised insights
We may store personalised insights generated for you, along with information needed to determine when an insight was generated, refreshed or viewed.
Subscription information
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple, Google and RevenueCat.
We may receive information such as:
- Subscription status
- Product or entitlement identifiers
- Purchase and renewal status
- Store transaction or receipt identifiers
We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Notification information
If you enable notifications, we may process:
- Notification permission status
- Push notification tokens where required
- Notifications scheduled or sent
- Notification categories and templates
- Whether a notification was opened
- Notification preferences
- App activity used to help determine relevant notification timing
You can disable notifications through LoopLift or through your device settings.
Device and diagnostic information

We do not sell your personal data or health-related information.
We do not use your cycle, symptom, workout or health-related information for third-party advertising, insurance decisions, employment decisions or unauthorised social sharing.
5. Personalised Insights and OpenAI
LoopLift uses OpenAI's application programming interface to help generate personalised fitness and wellness insights.
When an insight is generated, selected information may be securely sent to OpenAI for processing. Depending on the information available in your account, this may include:
- Cycle mode and cycle information
- Age range
- Energy entries
- Symptoms
- Workout information
- Fitness progress
- Relevant trends
- Recent or previously generated insights
We do not intentionally send your password, authentication credentials or full payment information to OpenAI.
OpenAI processes the selected information so that the requested insight can be generated and returned to LoopLift. The resulting insight may then be stored in your LoopLift account.
AI-generated information may be incomplete, unsuitable or inaccurate. It is provided for general fitness, wellness and educational purposes only.
You must not rely on LoopLift insights for diagnosis, treatment, medication decisions or emergency medical guidance.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Under UK data protection law, we rely on different legal bases depending on why information is processed.
Performance of a contract
We process account, profile, workout and subscription information where necessary to provide the LoopLift service you request.
Explicit consent
Where required, we rely on your explicit consent to process cycle, symptom, health and wellbeing information, including information used to generate personalised insights.
You may withdraw your consent. However, withdrawing consent may prevent LoopLift from providing features that depend on that information.
Consent
We rely on your consent for optional device permissions, including notifications.
You can withdraw notification permission through LoopLift or through your device settings.
Legitimate interests
We may process limited technical and diagnostic information where necessary to:
- Protect LoopLift and its users
- Prevent misuse
- Detect and diagnose faults
- Maintain app security
- Improve performance and reliability
We consider and balance these interests against your privacy rights.
Legal obligations
We may process information where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulatory obligations or valid legal requests.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use selected third-party service providers to operate LoopLift.
Supabase
Supabase provides authentication, database storage and backend infrastructure.
OpenAI
OpenAI processes selected cycle, fitness and wellbeing information to generate personalised insights.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat manages subscription status, purchase information and premium entitlements.
We do not intentionally provide RevenueCat with cycle, symptom or workout information.
Apple App Store and Google Play
Apple and Google process app downloads, purchases, subscriptions and payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Expo
Expo provides software infrastructure used to build, deliver and support the app, including push-notification services where applicable.
Sentry
Sentry provides crash, error and performance reporting.
We do not intentionally include cycle, symptom, workout or health-related information in Sentry reports. However, limited technical and diagnostic information may be processed when an error occurs.
These providers may process personal information only where necessary to provide services to LoopLift.
8. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate protections are used, such as adequacy regulations, contractual safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9. Data Storage and Security
LoopLift uses technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including:
- Encryption in transit
- Secure authentication
- Database access controls
- Row-level security policies
- Restricted service credentials
- Access controls for authorised systems and providers
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You should use a strong and unique password, protect access to your device and keep your account credentials private.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We generally retain your personal data while your LoopLift account remains active and for as long as it is reasonably required to provide the service.
When you delete your account, your active account and associated user data are deleted from our systems, except where limited information must be retained temporarily:
- In secure backups awaiting normal deletion
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations
- For security or fraud prevention
- To resolve outstanding transactions or disputes
Technical and diagnostic information may be retained for a limited period according to the operating requirements of our service providers.
We do not intentionally retain identifiable personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
11. Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your LoopLift account from within the app by going to:

Where possible, send your request from the email address associated with your LoopLift account.
We may need to verify your identity before completing an email deletion request.
Deleting your account removes your active LoopLift account and associated user data, including, where applicable:
- Your profile
- Workouts
- Workout routines
- Cycle entries
- Energy logs
- Symptoms
- Personalised insights
- Body-weight entries
- Feedback
- Notification-related account data
- Adaptive notification information
Deleting the LoopLift app from your device does not automatically delete your LoopLift account or information stored in your account.
Limited information may remain temporarily in secure backups or where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or transaction purposes.
12. Your Data-Protection Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your information
- Ask us to restrict certain processing
- Object to certain processing
- Receive certain information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to a data-protection authority

13. Users Aged 13 to 17
LoopLift is not designed or marketed specifically to children. However, LoopLift is available to users aged 13 and over.
Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to create or use a LoopLift account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If you believe that someone under 13 has created an account or provided personal information to LoopLift, contact us at loopliftadmin@gmail.com so that we can investigate and delete the information where appropriate.
We aim to present important privacy information and choices in language that teenage users can understand.
14. Your Choices
You can:
- Choose which optional information to enter
- Change notification permissions
- Update certain profile information
- Stop entering cycle, symptom, body-weight or fitness information
- Withdraw consent
- Delete your account
Some features may stop working if you withdraw permission or delete information required to provide those features.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when LoopLift, applicable laws or our service providers change.
If a change is significant, we may notify you through the app, website, email or another appropriate method.
The date at the top of this Privacy Policy shows when it was last updated.
